- Resum8 uses a credit pack model. Purchase credit packs directly — Top Up (7 credits, A$9.99), ~3 Applications (35 credits, A$39.99), or Full Season (80 credits, A$79.99). Each credit generates one tailored resume or cover letter. Credits never expire.
- What is the Career Story?
- Your Career Story is a structured profile of your motivations, values, and goals. When you generate a document, your Career Story is woven into the content so every cover letter reflects your authentic why.
- What is the Experience Coach?
- A smart 3-stage coaching feature: Stage 1 collects your profile data, Stage 2 enhances your experience descriptions, and Stage 3 asks targeted questions about your career goals, achievements, and values.
- Can I use Resum8 for multiple law firms?
- Yes — your profile stays the same, but each generated document is tailored to the specific firm you select from the Australian law firm database. One credit per document.
- Can I import my existing resume?
- Yes. Upload your existing resume during onboarding and Resum8 extracts your details automatically. Review and tidy up anything that did not parse correctly.
- Is using AI for applications ethical?
- Many top Australian law firms actively embrace AI, including King and Wood Mallesons, Herbert Smith Freehills, Allens, Clayton Utz, and MinterEllison. Resum8 is a drafting tool — students are encouraged to edit and personalise all output.
- Should I submit generated content without editing?
- No. Always edit and refine the output to reflect your personal voice and experiences. Cover letters are an opportunity to showcase your unique personality.
- How is my data protected?
- Data is transmitted securely over HTTPS and encrypted at rest. Personal information is never sold or shared. Your data is not used to train external models. Account deletion permanently removes all data.
- How do I redeem a promo code?
- Enter your promo code at checkout when purchasing credit packs. The discount applies automatically. Promo codes are typically provided by your law society or university.
- Who is responsible for the final submission?
- You bear full responsibility for your submissions. Resum8 is a helpful drafting tool, but the final content and its appropriateness rest with the applicant.
